SB Canning's SB Summer BBQ Beans
This one just oozes summer. There's nothing subtle here - a brown sugar, molasses, vinegar, mustard concoction, this recipe uses peruano beans. The result? tastes like a sweet barbecue sauce. Pinto or black beans suggested as alternates.
Putting Up With Erin has a post for Pickled Edamame. Now why didn't I think of that? This recipe starts off with frozen edamame so this one can be done any time of year. Erin always as such interesting recipes
No Ordinary Homestead's talks Canning Potatoes
Hot Can, Raw Can, Pressure Cooker Can - The why's and how's are explained in plain English for even the newbie canner to understand.
Speaking of Potatoes, Little House Living is Canning Sweet Potatoes. This is a great way to avoid the corn syrup that the store bought varieties are fraught with, as this recipe uses a very simple syrup of brown sugar and water. Be sure to make plenty of extras for easy holiday side dish preparation
Best Recipes Australia has this great recipe for Grandma's Pickled Onions - touted as being a genuine old fashioned English Pickled Onions recipe, packed with flavour with a variety of spices like cloves, allspice, chiles, green and black peppercorns in a malt vinegar base
