As I was holed up over the long cold winter months I took solace in my fellow food bloggers posts of growing, harvesting, preparing, canning and preserving the great bounty, the great surfeit of foodstuffs of summer.
Let me be frank - I am a novice. I LOVE food - and eat lots of food - but make very little. My Pinterest Fixation is completely unfounded. Somehow I have close to 30K pins.
Here's who I've been reading:

Take your harvest to a new level and kick up the preserving techniques. Deliciousness like Maple Cinnamon Applesauce or Blueberry Chocolate Jam . I often use a variety of methods described here with whatever is up and ready - with FANTASTIC results (cauliflower, broccoli, beans, asparagus, tomatoes, okra etc)
